Paul Ryan, once again, sounds like one of the few responsible adults in the room.
The Congressman puts the administration's savings proposal in perspective:
"I am hopeful that we can start the process of attacking spending by trimming agency budgets by 5%, as OMB Director Orszag encouraged. But to put that number in perspective, spending on government agencies sky-rocketed by 84% since the President took office – failing to create the jobs promised while plunging our nation deeper into debt."
