Rashid Dar of the Muslim Students Association at UW-Madison, several wardrobe changes into his rambly monologue, makes the above statement as he tries to explain his opposition to a speech on campus by the provocative Ayaan Hirsi Ali. I can't say his reasoning holds much water:
"DLS speakers have always encouraged thought, they've always encouraged dialogue. They've always prompted questions and conversation. And Ms. Ali does none of this."
