Twisted

Someone tried to scam my grandmother today by posing as me on the phone - using an elaborate (but odd) story and rather frightening corroborating details about my identity.

The details are not things that I've ever put on the blog, to my knowledge - they indicate that the scammer is from the greater Kiel area, likely someone who knows me or members of my extended family.

It's rather disturbing.  Fortunately Grandma hung up after a while, refusing to wire the $2,000 requested.

Needless to say, we're going to the police.
