On The Shipwreck HMS Victory

It's been all over the news lately.

Some of my Maritime Law Journal colleagues are already pondering away at the thorny legal questions involved.

Still, I think it's key to question one of the much-repeated terms associated with the wreck...namely that it's a "famous" shipwreck.  Perhaps it's famous within the diving or treasure-hunting community - or even the military history community, but otherwise this particular HMS Victory is - crucially - not the famous HMS Victory of Admiral Nelson's win at the Battle of Trafalgar, but an earlier English vessel of the same name.  Nelson's ship is still afloat.
