Congratulations, before the year's out, to my favorite bakery, a small family-run business back in Kiel.
For 100 years, the bakery has been a mainstay on Fremont Street, the main drag in downtown. Fresh Roeck's (pronounced "Rex") bread is hard to beat...so is the kuchen....so are the traditional hard roll buns. And I would honestly stack doughnuts from Roeck's up against any in the world. Congrats on the milestone!
